Jan 11, 2016 I have a similar problem: Win 10 doesn't recognise this card as an HDMI device. I've installed/uninstalled different Asus/Xonar driver packages (including the Uni Xonar modded drivers from MaxedTech) but Win 10 keeps showing this card as a SP/DIF device.

- I just bought an Asus Xonar U3 (wating for it to arrive) but i can't find any info on the subject if the dolby digital live option works on windows 10. I know it's an ancient external sound card, but it's driving me crazy. I know for a fact that the dolby digital live option works in windows 7 and 8.1, but i don't want to make a partition for it.
