Tasks to complete
- Come up with a business idea with your partner (or alone if you want to be a sole-proprietor)
- Do a Google search to find the “10 tips for setting up your first home office?”
- Using all 10 tips, create a layout of your home office.
- Use Word or any other program available, at school, to create your floor plan for your office layout (No hand drawn layouts permitted).
- Calculate the total cost (including taxes) to complete the home office.
- Prepare a 5-minute presentation (the class audience) that gives an explanation of the layout of the home office and addresses at least three of the 10 tips found in the article. Your presentation should illustrate that you spent the money wisely and created an effective layout for a good business idea.
